MERRY MACKAY CHRISTMAS 2012
2012 was a 'Mackay' Christmas year. We were delighted to have Glenn home from his mission to celebrate with us and those of our children and their families that were able to travel to share this time with us. We realize that as families grow that it is harder to 'move' Christmas. However, we were able to spend a little time with each one at some point during the holiday season. What a blessing our family is. We are truly grateful for each one. Enjoy our Christmas memories slideshow.
WELCOME PAIGE LINDSAY
We were so excited to welcome Paige Lindsay to our family on November 19, 2012. With her arrival, we have eleven grandchildren. She tipped the tally in favor of the girls with five grandsons and six granddaughters. I was touched when Brayden text that she was here. He wrote,"6 lbs 8 oz 19 in and perfect."
We cherish the time we take each fall for a last trip of the year to Macks Inn. It is wonderful to step away from the busy-ness that daily life brings. It was Glenn's first opportunity to fish since returning from his mission. He wasn't sure that he would remember how! Allison was excited to say that she had been fishing when she was eight month along in her pregnancy. We have won Brayden over with Mackay style fishing with the big fish that he caught. Mason was excited to go fishing as he repeated, "I wanna go fishing!" and "Let's go fishing Mom" while dragging around a pole case.
BRYNLEE'S BAPTISM
It was great to be able to attend Brynlee's baptism in October. She looked like an angel in her baptism dress.

WELCOME HOME ELDER MACKAY
We welcomed Glenn home from his mission to Merida, Mexico, on September 7. It was quite the trip home for him. He started out on Thursday. Due to a delay to his flight in Mexico City, he missed a connecting flight in Atlanta and got to spend the night there. He arrived home Friday afternoon. We were able to Skype with Amber and Allison to include them in on his arrival. Brett, Allison and families arrived later that day. From a mother's point of view, it was quite an emotional time! We are so grateful for his service and the many lives that he touched, but also for the growth that he made.

Mackay Sibling Reunion 2012
It doesn't take much to have a good time when Scott and his siblings gather! Highlights included floating the Provo River, time at the Provo Temple, and a trip down memory lane with Dad Mackay as he showed us some of the home that he lived in as a child.

Passing the Baton - Err, the Show Stick!
Last August another circle was completed. Weston showed his steer, Coal, in the Lemhi County Fair in Salmon. This is the third generation of showmen/women in our family. Weston's beef project was part of his 4-H year.

A piece of heaven - an evening of fishing with our children and their spouses. What a wonderful place to rejuvenate. We were in awe the quiet and solitude.
